Tutor program terms

Who can join
•
The program is for private tutors. You can’t join if you’re a teacher employed by an Ontario school board.
•
We check each application, and we may say no or end the program for a tutor who breaks these terms.
Telling families
•
Tell families you earn a commission whenever you share your code or link.
•
Don’t promise results, and don’t say Homebell is connected with any school board or the Ontario Ministry of Education.
•
You can’t use your own code for your own family.
What families get
A family using your code starts a 7-day free trial with no card and gets 20% off their first paid month. They have to sign up on the website for the code to count. After that they can use the apps.
What you earn
•
25% of what the family pays before tax, for their first 12 paid months.
•
A family counts when they signed up through your link or code and paid after the trial.
•
Refunds subtract from what you earn in the month they happen.
Getting paid
•
We pay by Interac e-Transfer by the 10th, for the month before.
•
If you’re owed under $25, it rolls over to the next month.
•
You’re responsible for any tax on what you earn.
Family privacy
We tell you how many families you’ve referred and what you’ve earned. We don’t share their emails or their kids’ practice. Access to progress is coming next, and only with parent permission.
Changes
We may change or end the program with 30 days’ notice by email. Commission you’ve already earned is still paid. Questions:
